Weekly Workshops
What are Career Tuesdays?
Career Tuesdays are an opportunity to meet with employers who are looking to connect with students from all business majors at all class levels. Students from all campuses and all majors are welcome to attend. These are tabling events which means there are no formal presentations or formal business attire required. Time commitment is as little as 10 minutes or as long as you and the recruiter wish to talk. Company Recruiters will share information on upcoming employment opportunities as well as insights on what it is like to work for their company.
How do I prepare for the event?
Students can prepare in advance by researching the companies that are attending each session.
What if I do not have a chance to prepare? Stop and talk anyway to begin the conversation.
Keep in mind even if you feel you are not ready to talk about jobs yet, it is never too early to start connecting to companies. Companies are looking for ambitious people like you! It never hurts to introduce yourself, make a great first impression, and begin networking.
